Just re-read this, and a comment about pulling to the left.

My softail used to pull to the left from new, didn't really worry too much about it at the time. But when I got a new rear tyre, as I put the wheel back on I checked the alignment and found it was not aligned properly from new. After re-alignment, the pulling to the left was gone......

    All fixed....

Iron heads in hoppers crossing fixed it, he took the front end off and tighten everything up, he also believes Geelong harley didn't do much if anything to the front end of bike.. As soon as he tighten the head bearing and adjusted a few things the bike ride perfect... I have to say be very careful if taking bike to Geelong harley....I do also need a front tyre, still pulls to left just a little. Once new tyre goes on it will be fine...but no more shaking it's head off....

Also I would like to give a special thanks to iron heads in hoppers crossing and too harley in Albury for paying for repair under warranty...

I'd say fucked wheel bearings. When they are "proper fucked" it feels like there is some imaginary giant of a cunt shaking your bike from side to side while you are riding it. More noticeable at slow speed if it's the back ones.

I fitted a steering damper from a GXR1100R to my FXR and it cleared up all mid corner wobbles! The difference was like night and day.
