    Hey,

Googled and even looked in my parts manual. but nothing is telling me the thread size/pitch for the 4 bolts that hold the pressure plate onto the hub.

I have one with a stripped thread that I'm not going to touch again until I have the right size TimeSert to fix the problem.

    Anyone have this info?

    cheers

Pretty sure they are 1/4 unc.

I will check in the morning, I have an old hub sitting here

Or you can match it up at the bolt shop

Check it is the bolt that is stripped and not the thread inside the hub tower

if the tower is aluminium they usually strip before the bolt.

Some aftermarket hubs have steel towers.

    You might be lucky

Cheers...I do not have the bolt out just yet. thought it safer to lave well enough alone until I do the winter stripdown as its still holding together at the moment.

I'll price out the timesert vs. a new hub as timeserts are not cheap.  I presume its a 1/4-20 UNC thread.

Cheers....I'm pushing 110Hp through it so its holding up pretty well.

I was keener to fix the current hub over buying a new one as it seems to be going fine - other than the stripped thread, which i suspect is self inflicted.

    Hi,

Nope its 100% OEM other than the fibre plates; hence why I am keen to repair rather than replace. (i awlways theorize that if you put a brand new bit into an engine this old something will not fit or will break)
