Hey,
Googled and even looked in my parts manual. but nothing is telling me the thread size/pitch for the 4 bolts that hold the pressure plate onto the hub.
I have one with a stripped thread that I'm not going to touch again until I have the right size TimeSert to fix the problem.
Anyone have this info?
cheers
Pretty sure they are 1/4 unc.
I will check in the morning, I have an old hub sitting here
Or you can match it up at the bolt shop
Check it is the bolt that is stripped and not the thread inside the hub tower
if the tower is aluminium they usually strip before the bolt.
Some aftermarket hubs have steel towers.
You might be lucky
Cheers...I do not have the bolt out just yet. thought it safer to lave well enough alone until I do the winter stripdown as its still holding together at the moment. I'll price out the timesert vs. a new hub as timeserts are not cheap. I presume its a 1/4-20 UNC thread.
