I see discussion on here about tyre repair kits, ie the type with the plugs and co2 etc. in them and they seem the goods.  My question is, and forgive me if its a silly one, the "Prevent a flat" type fluid that you put in your tyre and then plugs the hole and cures, is it an option or is there a reason why its not used?, like buggering the tyre balance or something.  I have used it in my ride on mower albeit a somewhat low speed machine, after the mad dog I own filled the tyre with teeth holes, and it worked a dream, been in there plugging those holes for two yea

A puncture on any Harley is a major pain for sure

300Kg and no mainstand makes for a "Kontova job"

I used to use the pour in "before" sealant in any tubeless tyred rims. ( No use in a tube/spoked wheel setup !)

Both my current bikes have tubeless front and rear mag wheels.

Over the years I have seen huge fuck off tech screws in my rear tyres on a few occasions , the gloop saved me all those times

My last wire wheeled bike was a 2006 Anniversary Dynaglide with spoked rims , and a rear wheel puncture required a Bike Lifter truck to Frasers from the roadside. $90 for that alone !

Cut a long story short ?

YES it's worth it with no ill effects that I can/could see
