Did you put in the RIGHT battery? Just because it fits doesn't make it right - usually its the CR2032 one I think.

So I presume you checked it was up the right way too... Then I'd check the battery with a multimeter (not the first time a "new" battery has been flat). After that place the FOB on the seat (minimise chance of interference) before trying again.

Well you wouldn't be the first to put the battery upside down if you did. Only thing I can think of is a trip to the dealers...and I'm betting that will be a bend over and lube up experience.
