    Good morning.

I am looking to change the exhaust headers on my RK, I have changed the mufflers (Screamin Eagle) already but still have the factory headers with the CAT, the sound is still not right, it is too "quiet", what have people used, do you have to have it tuned after, and can the oxygen sensors be "done away with" or are they necessary for the running of the bike, or if it needs to be tuned can the tune compensate for the removal of the O2 Sensors, sorry for so many questions.

    Thanks everyone

Rosscoe. Went with the "cat gut" on standard headers. Did go with a Power Vision tuner as well. Did a fair bit of research and found the stock headers gutted got a lot of support. My bike is a 2010 RK. Got rid of the heat problem and bike went a lot better.

Same as Graz said, you can gut the cat yourself but under no circumstances try to delete or fiddle with the 02 bungs. The note from exhaust will increase and the mega heat will go

Thanks guys, I have thought about that but was hoping to get a 2 into 2 instead of the 2-1-2, any suggestions on the best to get?

If post cost is really high check out Australia post as they now post directly out of the US. I have used the service twice with no problems.

Have Fullsac ceramic coated header pipe on 2012 FLTRX. 2 into 1 into 2. 254e cams, SE mufflers and SE tuner. 31,000km later and smile gets bigger the more kays covered! Not cheap though. Close to $500 AUD delivered from Arizona back in 2012
