Yeh Tat, I THOUGHT they were only beneficial for EFI, my understanding was they could be tuned while on the dyno and timing and fuel/air ratio changed.

I am not up on this new age stuff, I watch people make iron ore pellets, pay machanics to fix motors, simple country folk.

Tat you should be happy mate.

i'm deaf , but those pro pipes with no baffle bloody loud ( i can hear them ) don't see many around now. but your's is working & as you like 2 into 1.

i would just be happy with what i had, a baffle could help the Torque, you would loose a few horses but, if you have ever looked at horses, some are big strong horses, some are small shetland pony's. the Torque curve & amount of Torque tell you what size horses & how strong they are.

if you ride like me, that torque dip you see would mean nothing at all as i'm always over 3,000, but if you ride at a lower rev the right baffle could help as it's Torque that thrusts you forward not Horspower, you can't even feel horspower that much but horsepower gets you to speed. like Torque = Quick Horspower= fast

Hudson I have no Issues at all we have 2 totally different builds by the same builder
and I think very highly of Alan and recommend his work
I think it would be a good idea also as you list the goodies that went into your build
or the majority of them you gotta keep a few things up ya sleeve
    I know I have

    Cool thanks Tat2,

This dyno sheet is of my build in a carb'd 2001 Heritage Softail. Specs are as follows (to the best of my knowledge)

95" kit with SE 9.3 pistons

Mild Crane cams, Torrignton bearings, new lifters and cam chain tensioner

Heads ported and flowed, 5 angle valve job.

    After market ignition.

Bike already had SE air cleaner and V&H big radius 2+2

All in all its a nice torquey streetable combo, I'm very happy with the results. I will do a bit more to it later, but thats another storey......

Nice strong 95 with early TQ. Would be a fun ride.

Umm yeah Speedzter i think they are Crane 310's. And yes it is a heap of fun to ride. More so now with the extra pony's ofcourse.

Now it shows up the limits of the standard suspiension and wot-not so i have a few more things on the list to do yet. But that has to wait 'til after the wedding.

So next year will be a busy yeah for my Heritage.
