As the title says, so VTune3 is here & downloading the other updates also. Looking forward to reading the new features.

Just did some spark adjustments the other day, so it would be interesting to see what the new software comes up with in those & the EGR  tables. That's assuming those features are in these updates @ this time.. - Rob

Thanks for the heads up ill download and check it out today too. Appears the main addition is spark assist which will hopefully improve the current method of adjusting spark timing which is a PITA

Looks real good. Fiddled with VTune3 & some of the new tools for timing & EGR. New VTune3 format looks good, once I figured it out.
Did find something on Pg 9 in the manual that is different to what I have been doing. It instructs the user, when programming is complete, to switch off the ignition @ the handlebar switch ONLY. I have always used the Ignition switch on the console after programming. Have I interpreted this correctly? - Rob

Need to ride a couple of hours south of Auckland to find some mountainous roads with longish staights. There are some hills around me, but the roads have short straights & the next bend comes up real quick. As a result my brakes get a bit of a beating. - Rob

Hey fella's...I just down loaded this and thought I would get ready to do some tuning....I went to the bike and saved the cal that's in the ecm...Can someone tell me where it is saved to as I can't find it....When I do find it I do I just set this cal up as a vtune file and then start with the tuning process???? I haven't done any tuning for over 12 months and the memory is not what it used to be...

    Cheers....

Well I hope you all like the new software. If anyone has any issue let us know. This adds a lot of new features that no one else in this industry has done before. It now has the ability to tune with the narrow band sensors (as it always had), Wide Band sensors or a combination of both ALL at the same time! Adding to that is the Spark Assist, EGR tuning, Injector Duty cycle graph, Engine size correction and much more. We have also released about 50 more new calibrations. Currently not all of the older calibration have been upgraded for all of the Vtune feature but we are working on it. The current produce has all the 2010 and newer Touring models done. As we get the older model testing and done there will be more calibration updates for it .

I'm enjoying it Steve. Compared to the SEPST I don't think there's a contest.

It's a shame you guys have so much snow ATM. I bet the punters are chomping at the bit to get out there and try VT3.

Well I've downloaded the updates and printed/read the updated manual a couple of times. Looks good but just haven't had opportunity to tinker.

The new spark assist reduces timing but won't increase it and the suggested way of using it in the manual is very well explained. Great feature.

Conversely it seems that the new feature to adjust the egr table will adjust values by both increasing and decreasing?
