Hey all finally got my bike from HD after full service. Picked it up this morning, all fixed up. There were a couple of issues with the bike. Below is an outline from the receipt to show what they did with it, I hope this helps some poor bugger out.

    • HD0016 Harley-Davidson Full Service & Running Poorly.                                             Change engine oil & filter. Change primary oil & check chain. Change transmission oil. Remove seat & fuel tank. Check fuel pressure - ok. Remove V&H fuel Pak. Fit fuse for intake solenoid (not sure what this is, mech wasn't on when I picked it up) Re-flash ECM with Aussie calibration. Run on dyno- not right. Fit new 25 degree fuel injectors. Refit fuel tank. Re-flash ECM with 25 degree calibrarion. Run on dyno - ok. Replace spark plugs & check leads. Check and adjust drive belt.  The rest of the service comprised of the the standard roadworthy stuff that I needent bother you with.

Ok, bike now runs like a dream being responsive and obedient. The head mech from Wimmera  Small Engines Horsham was great. All though he wasn't there when I picked it up he did explain to me over the phone on day 2 that the bike was a Jappanese Import, thus being tuned for Japan requirements. I mentioned the recall/warranty on 8 degree injectors and would my bike be covered, no it was not as it was a jap import. Doh! With that being said I can now enjoy the Harley experience for real. The total cost to have this done was $1171.58. I did ask initially for a stage 1 air cleaner kit (valued @ $180) however the mech said there is no need, we fit V&H pipes for our customers without touching the air intake, I guess they have dyno tuned it to run as efficient as possible. It's a stock 1450 and unless I was to work the engine there is no need to run any $$$$ piggy back packs. I just want to say thanks for your help and wise counsel. This is my first HD and after most of it being rather crap, I can now ride like I always had hoped to. Cheers and again thanks for your help.  Again Wimmerra Small Engines Horsham are pretty good, I mean they could have put the stage 1 air-cleaner kit on and I'd be no the wiser, cheers Brett. One happy Bowzer ;-)
