Hi all, I have an 06 FLSTCI and bought some big billet race heads with 2" inlet valve and 1" 5/8 exhaust with the combustion chamber size at 84cc from the States and a set of Woods TW 6H cams.I have a spare set of cylinders i want to bore to 98 and was wondering what the best pistons to suit would be. I have read 10.2:1 compression is about correct for this cam but any info would be appreciated.
.
Cheers mate stuffed that up then it will have to be 98 then
95 is nice , 98 cub leaves nothing left in bores, if your chaseing every last hp , then 98 , all best with build ,
Thanks

take to hoody with your wallet or ask trask what to run non turbo/blown
In case you're not aware: 95 to an 88 motor is the same as 103 to a 96 motor. 98 to an 88 motor is the same as 106/107 to a 96 motor. Cylinders on a 88 and 96 are the same - diff in displacement is the crank. Lots of 106 and 107 twin cams getting around without issues. There are thousands of them in the USA - big mobs like fuel moto make it their business and they bore out the oem cylinders. I agree with ando - go the whole hog.
If you use the 106 size piston and cylinder, you could even take it out to the 107 size in the future if you had to.
Thanks Mate
