Cheers mate, appreciate it. There's still a fair bit to do, I really only have being doing a few hours work on it every couple weeks. Lately I haven't done much at all over the last 4 weeks, but I'll get stuck into it this week for a couple days to catch up.

Yeah I agree it's a cool looking tyre. The tyre itself is an Avon am21 roadrunner. Haven't seen this pattern in any other sizes. I had to go with the Avon Venom for the front, which doesn't bother me as I like the mismatch look for this bike

The worked head and manifold was suppose to be sent back today so hopefully I'll have them in a couples days, will post some updates then. Cheers

By the way the front invader wheel I had hand made in the states turned up but was built with no brake flange, so they're building me another. So if any one wants to buy this one, it's up for grabs

    21x2.15 with 3/4 bearings

Heads and manifold finally came back after a long wait but will be worth it. Ported, port matched and bench flowed with comp releases tapped in. Larger valves and shaved deck to bring the compression to 11:1

Rear fender struts need finishing but the mounts are now in a better position to flow with the fender.

A bit of modding done to the tank shift to make it fit, but fits nicely now

Trialled the new pipes to on too

Thanks hot and heavy. Was going to go full frame and tin paint job but this isn't going to be a show bike, so I'll probably stick with the simple flat coloured races theme I had planned

Muscled up I'm changing to a foot clutch

Nope I just want to share with like minded people that enjoy it as much as I do. I don't know what makes you think anyone cares to listen to you sooking your negative opinions on here. Ever heard the saying if ain't got nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all? Be sure to share you master bike builds here for all of us to learn from

Fuck me dead ,,, A guy posts up a thread regarding his new build and mods ,, which we all enjoy and like to follow , (shit , we might even learn something ),, and then someone decides its not his cup of tea , so he starts to rant, "you've fucked a good bike , enjoy your trips to the coffee shop" etc, etc .... And follows through , a few more times !!!!

softail ,, there a better ways to put a negative opinion forward regarding someones personal build ,, better still , say nothing , and move to another thread , and live, and let live !!!!!
If you were at a show and shine event , and saw a bike that did'nt tickle your fancy ,, you would'nt go up to the owner and say , what a piece of shit , and you've fucked that up !!!!! Unless you wanted to eat through a straw for a few months !!!!!

Squid ,, enjoy your project , and good luck making it your own !!!!! Look forward to your updates !!!!!

+1 Bilko! Takes balls to do something different! I for one, i am enjoying following the build and the workmanship that is going into it, even if it isn't exactly my cup of bourbon. Keep up the good work Squid! Don't reckon I'd want to be too close to those pipes when you let her rip!!!!

Cheers fellas! Will definitely keep the pics and updates coming.

nhb006 it's an Invader wheel, this one was built by led sled customs. They're made out of steel as billet and cast materials aren't strong enough to be made this thin apparently. Saying that this wheel is still much lighter then my last billet wheel. I could only found a handful of guys in the world welding these together, so they usually aren't too cheap on price, but Led Sleds seam to be good on price, and the quality and service is great too. They made my springer so I knew they'd make a decent wheel

Gidday Squid ... well I suppose there was always going to be someone who didn`t agree with your direction but like EVERYONE else has said ... everyone to their own ... just a pity some or should I say 1 has to be so aggressive about his disapproval .

Something tells me your not going to loose any sleep over it , Lol ... keep up the hard work ... cheers .
