Ok another up date. I got the machine shop next to where I work to hone the bore just has it the owner has owned 15 Harley's and used to rebiuld shovels and afew evo's i. The 90's he gave the bores a quick hone and said they where mint and had t done many kms. I dropped the heads of to a cylinder head shop near me and the block told me they had a good seal but the valve job was the worse job he has ever seen from a factory he's going to clean the heads and do flow test when he finishes. I've painted the crank case and barrels clean the fins tomorrow and put the barrels back on and wait for the heads to be ready Wednesday next week. One question more when I put it all back together should I try and adjust the voes for the cam as I haven't touched it at all.

The voes is used to change the timing under different vacuum ie load conditions it changes the timing under vacuum basically . The Vacuum operated electric switch. personally if i was changing a cam i would change the timing curve to suit. What ignition system are you running you might be able to get a module to suit the cam.I run one of those ultima ignitions with selectable and programmable maps with single fire option on mine .

I'm stillrunning stock ignition. Haven't got the funds for an after market ignition right now saving for a wedding. I was just thinking while I have the voes off the bike it'll be a good time to pick the silicon out to the to the screw.
