Always interesting to see how they treat u when something goes wrong.

I have purchased lots of Robs (via ebay) and found that delivery is quick, however I have never had a problem. One of the potential problems buying overseas

Hopefully it will work out for u,

I've bought plenty of bits from Rob's over the last 6 months, and on the whole have been satisfied with the prices, description of the goods and the time it takes to arrive. however, on the one occasion where I put a 'neutral' for ebay feedback instead of positive (for lack of communication after I waited about 5 weeks for a brake lever to arrive), I got an email which basically accused me of being impatient... I guess you have to remember that any purchase of something you can't get in person is a bit of a gamble.

he;s still taking my $$ though..just spent another $300 last week!!

Pharkin hell  as a supplier I wouldnt dream of sending emails like that to my customers..........................................only upside to this is if ya end up getting the right seat you can sell the wrong seat,,,,,,if that makes sense

Hey Steve.... Jilli doesn't need the seat anymore... well not for a while anyway

So what is the part number for the seat? Why not sell it locally?

I know how you feel... I would feel the same... but rather than getting bent up over something that you cannot influence look for solutions.... something I have learn't dealing internationally over the years...

Remember... just like HD business in Oz, their Oz business is perhaps very small when you look at the bigger picture.

That's put me off buying anything from Rob's again, I have spent a bit from there and a bit from Eastern Performance Cycles. I'll go to Eastern for all my bits now.

Thanks for the heads up Thruster, that's the worst customer relations I have heard of.

    Thruster,

Did you pay with Paypal funded by your credit card?

You may be able to do a chargeback against Paypal through your credit card company.

I know what you mean Thruster.

I haven't been burnt myself but have read countless stories in the eBay forum of buyers and sellers being burnt by Paypal's so called protection.
