Hi

Just joined and looking at 2008 Street Bob or Super Glide and was wondering which way to go

Have owned 2 Sportsters in the past and I'm still tempted to get another but I fancied something different

Any advice would be great

Best advise I can give is go out and test ride the bikes you have in mind
the only one that knows whats going to work for you is YOU
As you have just found out some in here are not very Helpful at all

Having owned a couple of Sportsters you already have a base knowledge of what Harley are like, so only you can decide the style of bike that you would be happy with to suit your personality and riding style.

After some non fairinged bikes, I now won't go past one without it. That's why my previous and current bike have batwing fairings.

Just my preference, but that doesn't help you make a decision. Happy hunting!

BTW Welcome to the forum. Great place for knowledge if you can handle the shit stirrers like me, and him, and that lot over there!
If you can, ride a few models, even if you don't fancy them as you may be surprised with a different model you never considered before.
