I won't say it's finished, but it is back on the road.
I road a 1400 klm round trip interstate with 10 others from work in November last year and couldn't fault it. The bike handled just the way it should have.
In fact two other guys on softails and myself had a few of the younger guys in the group amazed that bike like these could actually be riden as fast as we were going. (and in the wet too....) Yep the Avon's have my tick of approval.
Since then though my original equipment suspension has given up the ghost. So now looking at progressives front and rear along with a new Mikuni 44 carbi.
Then finish it of cosmetically with tank decals and or some accents. And a sissy bar.
