Camping down here for 10 days at Kennett River,a great base to takeoff each day and explore this fantastic region.

Turtons Track is agreat ride, up to Lavers Hill, and then back down hill to Apollo Bay.  The camber and turns on the road just above Apollo are just built for bikes I reckon.

oh we'll, another log on the fire, then another ride tomorrow.

I enjoy the run from apollo bay to colac thru forrest etc, or keep going down to portland, warrnambool etc,

If you wanna go back towards torquay then try it at 5-6pm also, its a bit quieter and the sky can be very nice

+1. Great roads when the traffic is light. Best on week days. Do it most years to and from Philip Island superbikes. Ready to hit it  again in about 3 weeks time. Love the Lavers hill stretch into Appollo Bay.

Beautiful late arvo/early evening yesterday, got to see 4 koala's enjoying life in the tree tops on the trip, was a real thrill joining in with plenty of new aussies, juicy vans, wicked campers and nomads enjoying the wildlife

I've done it probably 6-7 times , but the last couple we have stopped at Torquay and Appolo bay , for a day or two and theres some great roads all around that area , not just the main drag .. In fact Vic has great roads full stop

Be doing this for the first time in october just before our national meet. Should be a cracker........

it would be a dream come true to one day watch the World Rally Championship race on that road and surrounding roads that take you to Forrest, Lavers Hill, Port Campbell, Colac etc

Now that Ron Walker is cured he should lead Melbourne Major Events to secure the race

Yep, Rode it in 1985 West to East. ( after the first Adelaide G.P.) rode out over London Bridge. Rode it again 2010 West to East.
Also done it with or caravan in 2008. Definitely going back to do it again.

Its basically my back yard and I ride it often. Enjoy the scenery.
