Hey Jarrod, I too have just recently fitted a PCV to my 96ci 09 fxst to replace the (very limited adjustment) revtec DFO tuner. My mechanic supplied, fitted and mapped it to my set-up for $420- purchased through "SERCO" with 12 mth warranty.
Fuck me, $950 is fucking outrageous.

My mechanic purchased through serco in Aus and had it in the shop 2 days later. Maybe find a local bike shop to do the same for you.
When you purchase through serco the product serial# is recorded to the purchase for warranty and after sales service, which is outstanding I believe from the research I did.
    Hope this helps

Why a power commander? Much better and newer technology around at the same cost.

Latest technology = Good Idea. I would use a Power Vision Licence key and carry out a full custom advance map. The licence key will cost you $250. I charge $660 for the full tune at my shop in Melbourne.. Thats $910 of the best spent money you will do for your Nightrod. The Power Vision has the most amount of adjustment available. (to someone who knows how to use them that is). Try Jimmy at LA Cycles in Hoxton Park. He works on and drag races V-Rods.

    Cheers Brian.

I've got a PowerVision unit for sale since re-locating my SE tuner. Pretty much brand new, still have the box and everything else. It is locked to my VIN though, but you can unlock it through Dynojet for $250AUD.

It is a wicked unit, so much functionality and is not a piggy back system. My preferred dealership does not deal with them however so that's why I'm back using the SE tuner.

If you're interested I'll sell it for $200 firm which should still save you a fair bit in total. $650AUD + shipping is the cheapest I have found it.

You'll just need to unlock it, which as far as I understand is a real quick and easy process through Dynojet.

$450 aud for a newish power vision is an alright deal. It's a much better deal than buying a piggyback power commander.
