Friends. While putting on my helmet, I often find myself resting my sunglasses on the seat. This is fraught with danger and I have often had the glasses slide off onto the ground causing scratches and damage.

I had my wife get me a shirt biro holder from office works for a couple dollars.

I fitted it to a cable tie on the handlebars.

    What do you think?

You are aware there is a huge range of sunglass holder pins for your jacket available?

Hey Ranger,, If you had the pin holders on your jacket ,, you would'nt have your sunny's pushed back on top of your head ,, and look cool for the chicky babes !!!! Now,, I'm to old for that shit ,,, just thinking about the younger riders !!!!

Hey thanks for the heads up on the jacket pins. I usually cycle between about 4 or 5 jackets though. I'd need one for each. I bought those raybans with the carbon fiber arms thinking they'd survive being squeezed up under the flip front full face but no luck. They have to come off to put the helmet on.

Use the collar of your shirt or your mouth while putting helmet on.
If my wife came back from office works with a biro holder for me.....well she wouldn't

I had those sunnies and the carbon fibre arm just let go one day right in the middle when I was taking them of my noggin. I hadn't notice any damage prior to that. Worn in normal conditions and I tried to look after them because they were bloody expensive. Less than a year old. Where sunnies are concerned after this experiance I will rock cheap ones and save my money to spend on The Phat.

Well done to your wife for being so thoughtful and as far as solutions to a problem go I don't hate it.
