Hey guys, just had a Fat Bob ass end fitted to my 2013 FLS Slim. Had HD do it to keep it all original. I'm taking it back into the shop today but just want some thoughts on the rear suspension. Pre load is at the weakest setting and there is virtually no suspension movement in the arse. Stiff as a board. Went for hoot with the boys yesterday and was lucky to hang on. No pre load it should have plenty of travel but lucky to have 2 mm with me on board. I weigh 61 kgs but a couple of the boys gave it ago, they weigh in at 100 kg plus and same no suspension travel at all. Could swing arm be too tight or something similar or shocks ratshit. It's unrideable for me like it is. After 7.5 k you'd think it would ride a little better. Before the fat end was fitted it did have suspension travel. Eh see wat u reckon, gunna get spun some bullshit from the shop I suppose so thought I'd arm myself with some info or ideas. Cheers.

Would now look like a Fat Boy, I guess? Would like to see what it looks like, and what guard was used.

I have a slim also and love the skinny rear end, but would love to see the mod you got done, put up some pic's of your bike.
