S.E.Qld Xmas party

    Hi guys,

    I noticed other states doing a Xmas party and thought I'd start the ball rolling for us...

    I'm happy to hold something at my house.

    I was thinking late October or early November.

    I'll put it out there as to whether it's on a Sat nite or a Sunday or even if you all want to do one at all.

    So, what I want to know is:

    Who's interested?

    When? and do we want to do a ride first?

    I'm limited on dates as to what my shifts will allow, so I'll post my available Sat nites and Sundays and you guys pick a suitable one.

    Sun 19th Oct, Sat nite 1st Nov, Sunday 2nd Nov or we could make it at the Chrome Daddies reunion gig at the Jubilee hotel on the 9th Nov.

    So, let me know who's interested for starters and we'll go from there.

    Yeh, Sat and Sun only works for me as well.

    Have a couple of things on the radar, just have to check with SWMBO.

    7th or 15th I have nightshifts but if they're the only dates, I'll organise shift swaps.

    Probably the 15th would be the go as it's a Sat night.

    I'm happy to have it at mine, but if Rob wants to have it at his pub, that's cool too.

    Just wanted to get something started........you know this'll take 7 pages before we get a result

    Ok, because Jilli was unavailable for the other dates, and it's all about Jilli, should we say, at this stage, my place, Sat 15th.

    For those who rsvp, I'll pm my address when we get to page 24 of this thread.

    Do we want to do a ride first or would you like to be driven here so you can get on the piss?

    UB, you drive ok? U crazy and your mate, Jilli.

    I'll be away that weekend unfortunately,  but will look forward to hearing (reading) all about it.   

    Anyone riding down to Lennox Heads Saturday by chance?

    Cool geoff wayne and i are in ,just let us know when it's happening tell us what bring or if everyone chucks in $10 ahead it would help out with the xmas party it would be a good to help out .

    what do u guys all think ?

    !5th will work for me , i have day shifts, but will have to organise some swaps as well, if there is a ride before hand.

    Good to hear, Dave.

    Yes, the pool could be a bit of a concern. I may have to put a lifeguard on.

    Other than that, I have a couple of couches and a spare double bed for those who can't make it home as well as lock up space for bikes if you choose to ride.
    First in, best dressed for the bed/couches. Otherwise, floorspace is available. Like Wayne and Hills party, bring sleeping bags......

    Ok, it looks like the 15th November is ok for most people.

    I was thinking of starting it at around 3pm.

    So far we have: Dlux +1,  Ubdead,  Pan & Hils,  Retsurht,  Homerd.

    Tentatives: Jilli, Philthy.

    Who we need to hear from: Skulz, Peter/Josie, Sycle1, SportyTrace, Bart, Pommy, Robert65, Sqeeeech

    Sorry if I have left anyone out. If this is the case, please add yourself or someone else let me know.

    As I get confirmations, I'll PM my address.

    I'll also look at getting some live music happening.

    So, start adding yourself to the list!

    I'll say a tentitive yes for Shelley and I but I am not sure of the date for the Hog chrissy party yet will know after Monday night.
    Do you have strong cattle yards there Kustomtown? to cope with the animals that seem to get loose at these parties.

    it was dlux and alot of come on ubs and the answer was allways no .no matter how drunk i was it was always no .the old cootes can dress them selves up as elves they probs wont know anyways .lol

    I'm spewin I'm going to miss all the fun and laughs  at the Xmas party, but unfortunately   I'll be in Melbourne that weekend  .  The Chrome Daddies on the 9th is a definite goer though so will get the dancing shoes ready.
