I was at the bottom pub in Orbost a couple of days ago and the owner Mick gave me a flyer for the upcoming poker run he is organising. I didn't get to go last year but Mick said they had about 180 people turn up. There are a few rooms left so get in early.

Ok tried to book a room at the club hotel but it's booked out. I'll stay nearby and walk to the club hotel for a beer. Won't get there until late arvo.

What other pubs or motels are in Orbost that we could try for accommodation for the Saturday night?

Umm, there's the top pub which is about 300 yards up the road. Not to sure of other accommodation, but I think there is a couple of motels. Was born in Orbost but moved out at about 3 months old....
