What pipes are these?

Here is a pic of the pipes on my 07 fatboy.  I dont know a whole lot about HDs as am new to this. I didnt fit these they were on the bike when I got it.   There are no markings/names that I can see on these pipes and as you can see thay slip into the main pipe.  They are held there by a worm drive type clamp.  Now my question is this.  I want to buy some slip ons to fit into these pipes.  No drama there, I will search the forum for opinions but does anyone out there know what these pipes on my bike might be?  They are quite loud so I imagine they arent standard but I dont know what they are, nor do I know the size for reference when I start chasing new slip ons down.  How do I measure them, is it internal or extrenal diameter.  Thanks in advance and I hope this pic is enough to explain what Im banging on about...

Look like drag pipes but no brand or manufacturer comes to mind. Do the ends even come off for mufflers to go on? Even if they do there wouldn't be much room to put mufflers on from the looks of it and the overlap of those pipes may not allow most mufflers to easily mount.

If I'm wrong, good luck with it. If I'm right you could try baffling those pipes by visiting an exhaust shop. When measuring the pipe diameter, measure the inside.

    All the best

After studying these pipes a little closer I see that they actually don't join, apologies fatbat. The worm drive clip that I was banging on about holds the heat shield onto the pipes. The rest is just one piece by the looks. They are 2 inch inside diameter so Im going to look around for some baffles. I like the look of Khrome Works and they are well priced, albeit I cant seem to find a dealer here in Aus. There are baffles in my pipes but they don't seem to do anything much. They are virtually straight through.
Im thinking some better ones to take the bark away a bit and may also help performance wise with a bit more back pressure. Any experience with these shared would be appreciated.

2 inch diameter pipes are too big for a stock or small motor. They will make a racket and exhaust gases will travel slower impacting performance, particularly down low where you ride it. You will have stuff all back pressure. The factory pipes and most aftermarket pipes are 1.75 inch diameter for a reason. I'd go back to the stock headers with free flowing mufflers or buy new pipes altogether.

They look very similar to a mob up here in Qld that custom make them to any spec. Have a look at these and see if you reckon that's them http://www.motorcycleexhaustprofessionals.com.au/photo-gallery/

Thanks for the info Hilly. I will have a look when I get home tonight and see where they step up. I would rather bang some slip ons on if i can do it. Depending on where they step up, would I be able to cut the pipes there and put slip ons into the mix or is that not the go? I am a bit keen on V&H 2 into 1 bib bore, reckon they look good and according to a dude at one of the motorcycle dealers (Not HD) they will enhance performance as well. Slip ons would be a bit cheaper though and would be happy if they did the job. Thanks again. P.S. the pipes on it at the moment are very loud. They do have a baffle right up the end of the pipe but looking at them I dont reckon they do much as there isnt much guts to them. Sounds like the 2 inch is a problem. Sorry for all the questions but still learning...

Thanks Hilly will check it all out, the headers and slip ons sound like a good idea. And yes they will be heard in the next state with these pipes.

Had a look at the pipes tonight. One piece all the way through. If you look closely at the photos where it looks like there's a join is where they step up to two inch. Still couldn't see any markings unless its under the heat shields. Anyway will work out what I'm gunna do.
