Hopefully a quick one 

if i was to do a stage 1 air filter and use a Vance Hines FP3 with appropriate   tune.. 

Am i gimping the bike too much if i dont swap the pipes just yet (FXDBB - Street Bob Special '14) was going to play with that active exhause valve with the FP3

haven't found a exhaust that i like yet... (all i seem to see is vance and hines..)
and I'm looking for 'harley sound but not so loud... (last bike was a nightster with shortshots / harley tuner / heavy breather)

air cleaner - opening it up will let more air in, let and with tuner ... can 'tweak' to make it a bit more snappy..
tuner like the v&h fp3 i can bypass or at least play with the setting on that exhaust valve.. and stop it being 'lean'

also because I'm not ready to got he whole hog like ando and his 120 (would if i could but... wife..... I'm surprised I'm alive with a brand new bike )
