just putting a tip out there that as long as the bearing ID's allow, cam bearing puller can be used in conjunction with a different puller dolly (I just used something I had lying around in the shed for the dolly).

my wheel bearings are 25mm and cam bearings are 1.000" so the puller suits both...

Beats belting them out with hammer and punch. Once one side bearing is out, drifting the other out with something suitable is fine as you can get a nice direct straight hit on it.

I did as well, just make sure you put the bearings back in properly or you will be doing them again. Another post on wheel bearings with lots of stuff on it on this site somewhere.

No worries, but might not hurt to read it, lot of people have problems with them.

I'll see if I can find the thread for interest but if you have a mechanical background and the correct tools a job like this shouldn't give any drama.
Too many people just because it's a harley for some reason undertake tasks themselves that they probably shouldn't be doing.
Gives me a bit of work though so I don't mind, handy beer money or finance for other goodies !

I should say to use the cam bearing puller for wheel bearings you need a few other bits and pieces,
A bit of pipe or large socket to sit on the hub for the puller to pull against (and the old bearing will go up inside this as its removed)
A dolly (or large 3/4" drive socket or anything just slightly smaller than the OD of the bearing) to knock the bearings in.
I use two Dolly's the correct size I machined up and some 16mm allthread to pull the bearings in.
You can sit the bearings in the freezer for a while and they will virtually drop in, just make sure they are seated properly
