Not all bikes are affected, its basically based on certain Vin number builds. If you received a letter you will be required to have a inspection done on the affected part and if deemed okay you will be good to go. If not there will be parts replaced.

It would also pay for those Dyna owners who are not the original owner to get your Vin number and call a dealer who can check online to see if your bike is affected. The letter is sent to the original owner of the bike.

Interesting. I have a 2013 Fat Bob import which I has some issues with the front brake. Basically the master cylinder wasn't returning fully resulting in the brake light staying on. I put a new kit through it and haven't had a problem since. Might get the vin checked by the dealer after hearing this!

I have received a letter from H.D. contacted dealer who say they don't have the parts, did some research, and 19,250 (world wide) 2012 models affected, seams the banjo bolt going to master cylinder goes rusty!!! Going to cost H.D. about $1,900,000for the sake of a 50 cent bit. Just got back from 7 day round trip of Tassi, had no problems apart from the red alarm light staying on for no reason
