The wheel bearing myth is to change bearings at every tyre change hehehe, yeah nice one

The main item on the 40k change is the fuel filter, also do your brake fluid if you havent done it for 2years

inner primary bearing is almost the same size as the later wheel bearings, primary is a touch bigger on the inner race

same width,and od forgot what the inner was

The inner primary bearing was a recall on the 06 models so as Mr Hilly is stating it would be worth checking it out and both the 06 and 07 A engines can run the baker bearings.

I owned a 06 dyna from new and it got the whole kit on the recall with bearing and inner primary cover.

l changed the inner bearing&race at about 40k. didnt know it was pitted till l put the standard pipes back on & heard a noise,
the bearing was o.k. but the race was as you see in the photo,it was a week before a 9k trip so l just purchased a standard set from the HD dealer to get it back on the road soon as,The first fuel filter l changed out at 25k it was cactus,l put a new one in when l had that trouble with the leaking fuel line & had to remove all the insides anyway, it was looking as new so l suppose it depends on the cleanlyness of the fuel in your tank,wheel bearings are the origonals except for a rear one on the belt side it felt gritty so swaped it at 52k..l also check them at tyre changes and replace if needed..2006 street bob..

i new it was leakin oil and still does, thanks tp horsham harley, done the Monaro Hiway any way , leaks a bout 20-50c piece over night

didnt leak oil 8 years prior and no warranty
