Anybody know the correct torque setting for the upper (& lower while I'm here) shock mounts on a 2015 FXDB Street Bob?  Have to drop the swing arm to do indicator relocation etc.

    cheers

Just a quick copy and paste from the 2013 Manual. You really need to spend the $70 or $15 digital dowload to get one of these. Lost count of the times I've referred to it, even with the simple things I've done like bar changes etc….

    INSTALLATION
    FASTENER TORQUE VALUE

Shock mounting stud nut, inner, 75-85 ft-lbs 101.7-115.2
    Nm

    Shock mounting fastener, 30-40 ft-lbs 40.7-54.2 Nm
    lower

    Shock mounting fastener, 30-40 ft-lbs 40.7-54.2 Nm
    upper

    1. See Figure 2-100. If removed, install stud (6), hardened
    washer (7) and nut (8). Tighten to 75-85 ft-lbs (101.7-115.2
    Nm).
    2. Fasten each shock to the frame and rear fork using the
    original hardware.
    3. Attach lower shock mount to rear fork.
    a. Apply two to three drops of LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM
    STRENGTH THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (blue)
to threads of bottom bolt (1).
    b. Install bolt and hand tighten.
    4. Apply two to three drops of LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM
STRENGTH THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (blue) to
threads of upper mounting nut (2).
    a. Install cover (3), shock (5), and washer (4).
    b. Hand tighten upper mounting nut (2).
    5. Tighten upper and lower shock mount screws as follows:
    a. Lower mount: 30-40 ft-lbs (40.7-54.2 Nm)
    b. Upper mount: 30-40 ft-lbs (40.7-54.2 Nm)
    6. Adjust shocks if needed.

...But it you are doing the GBG tail kit, you probably don't have to undo/ take the suspension off. I didn't. I guess it depends on how big your hands are.

I was able to tuck the wires back behind the plastic retainers etc with out doing that.I jacked it up a tiny bit bwith a floor jack, just until the wheel was off the ground and that was enough clearance for me.

I knwo the first line fo the GBG kit says to disconnect the suspension but....
