Lifting a slim

    Hi guys,

I've got a 2014 softail slim. I knew the running boards would scrap but I'm actually hitting down on their mounting brackets and loosing contact between tyre and bitumen.

Would fitting some 4" overs sort my problem without creating any other unforeseen issues and if so where would you look to purchase them?

    thanks everyone!

Try some better springs in the front and better shocks in the rear, front ones first as they are closest to the floorboards and are as soft as marshmellows, so they compress too easily from the cornering forces reducing your cornering clearance. Basically they are rubbish.

Put some Intiminators in there as well and the brake dive will disappear as well, it will  have you thinging your riding a different bike. Nice bikes the slims.
