I have recently acquired a harley by default i guess. (guy owed me shitloads of bucks). It is supposedly a 96ci S&Smotor in a custom built set up. I am trying to find out details of the engine by using the crankcase number, but keep getting dead ends. i am starting to wonder if it really is a S&S or just S&S barrels on a standard case.. The Crankcase number is C03739 . Its cast into the casing on both halves . which makes me think its a harley casing, not an S&S.. Anyone there who can shed some light.??
Cheers
Sparkles
S&s cranks have numbers you can read by removing the allen key window on the left side for the timing .
