Looking at maybee getting myself a heritage softail , Now obviously first job i will do is get the exhaust done , everything else is pretty much ok standard for me ,,

In a pack on a big ride , i'm likely to be at the back cruising  or in the middle somewhere , but never at the front scraping pegs , i know the 1700 softail will have more than enough power for me ..

So my question is , when i buy the bike , are the exhausts just plug and play , and alls good, or do i need to get the race tuner , power commander , dynoed , whatever , I would'nt want to  spend money on all that stuff just to get a bit more power i would'nt use , its the sound i will be after

The mufflers should be plug and play with the stock restricted air cleaner. If you decide to run a K&N air cleaner in the stock air box you still should be good but all bikes are different and some will fart and pop when you roll back off the gas and some are fine.
I would suggest doing your home work regarding stage one and 2 builds as there plenty of HP and Torque with the right combination of parts.
    Good Luck

Thanks for the reply . I'll do my research over the next few weeks  Biggest problem i've got is WHAT MODEL ,, i just cannot make my mind up , wittled it down to 3 , Heritage  softail classic , fatbob if i can find one with mid mounts , or  deluxe

They all float my boat , but i've got 2 bikes and 5 is out of the question .

The Roadking Custom is a nice looking bike and suits two people.
