Hey I'm new here too and have a question, what do you mean by "as loud as the short shots were"? I just bought a Street Bob and was thinking the short shots would look great on there. Are they really loud (last bike was a ducati with termi race pipes so I'm not afraid of noise, just wondering if you mean something that will send the neighbours into a fit.

I had big shots (which aren't as loud) and they, imo, had a fucking annoying , ear splitting sound until I pissed around with baffles, wrap and finally lollypopping the fuckers.
Some people love the sound, however. They are loud enough that there's always at least one neighbor that's going to hate them.

Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers- Dyna Shorty Dual-80678-08

have these on my FXDBB, in black with heat shields

Sounds great - nice note and crackle on downshift and not super loud like some shorter pipes.
