For those interested, I bought the Great Bike Gear relocation kit and thought I'd post some photos.

I think it's probably the best looking solution if you want to get your indicators off the struts for saddlebags, or run a detachable sissy bar.(My dealer told me that the wires for the street bob are too thick to go through the centre of the stalks for the usual Harely relocation kit/ detachable setup - the one that just extends the indicators out in the original location) I'm assuming that the 4 wires running to the stop/turn indicators are the problem.
It has a tab built in that is designed to mount a number plate light from the US side-mount set-ups. I've ordered one that belongs to a 2010 Wide glide P/N 60375-10. Bout $50 but hasn't arrived yet.
Relatively easy install. Luckily didn't need to jack the bike up much. Just used a floor jack and got the rear wheel just off the gorund to provide some clearance.
Possibly not everyone's cup of tea but i think it tidies up the rear end nicely.
It was $46 USD for shipping. Not a great time to be ordering stuff from the states at 80c .....The total price to me shipped after conversion etc...was $280 AUD. Yours with the led plate surround will obvoulsy be a touch more. Not cheap but it is very well made and fits great.
I assume you have a custom plate that is roughly 7" x 4" ? Our plates here in WA are monstrous - 10" x 4" so the led frame wasn't an option for me, unless I go and get custom plates from department of transport for a whopping $510 !!!!!
If you don't have a 7" x 4" plate, another thing to consider, is to get some cheap Hong-kong/ebay led licens plate bolts and order the bracket kit without the illuminator tab. Ando just posted about some in his build thread. They will be cheaper than the illuminator part I mentioned nefore and ordered.
Thanks for posting that setup, looks good. IMO it would look even better with some smaller bullet style indicators.... I wonder if that would be possible somehow?
I just installed the kit on my bike too and love the way it looks.
I also went to harley and grabbed another shorter indicator stand and used them instead of the longer ones. The LED licence plate frame fitted around my NSW plate although some very minor trimming was needed and I drilled a small hole in the top center for the wires to run through. it looks great when it is lit up.
