Hi guys,

Just took delivery of a Hard Candy Red 48. Loving the styling of the bike, except for the rear end. My question is, are there any options available for a tidier rear end look? At the very minimum, I want to remove the black plastic rear end attachment that the number plate bolts onto, but then where to attach the plate? Has anyone in Australia done this, as I know side mounted plates aren't legal here.

 

Congrats , nice colour, one of our sponsors Andrew from AA Custom Cycles does a really nice one supplied and fitted  if ur ever in Melbourne , otherwise he is working on  a kit for us interstaters  ( not ready yet)

A few of us are pretty keen for the kit , side mounted are illegal , but use the search option , some guys are getting away with it with a few mods

Any pics of this AA Custom kit? Really keen on a tail tidy, can't find anything that doesn't side mount, and I'd rather not get pulled over for the plate and then get defected on my exhaust.

Did you get a set of these? verdict?

If your talking about the XIEDs , above  , I sold these last week ( photos change when I upload for some reason ) I had these on my sportster 48 for 12 months,  worked fine with  slip ons and hi flow air cleaner  but I upgraded to a cobra tuner cause I  altered  and opened up my baffles  on my screaming Eagles  and got some popping on decel, but it's works ok till u can afford a tuner of some sort . 

 

My mate chopped my rear guard a couple of weeks ago! Tidies the rear up so much.
