G’day kiwihogfiend,
Where about did you get yours?
I’ve only been able to find one joint in Perth that advertises them ’66 motorcycles’ in O’Connor.
They can be ordered from several places online within Oz, but I believe that the sizing of Bell helmets are a little ‘snug’.
So its recommended to go one size up? How did you find yours size wise?
Cheers
I was given one for Xmas (blue flake with the aluminium edging), I love it.. Very comfortable, very open too feels more like an open face with a chin bar than a full face.
Well made, nicely finished, I run mine without the visor I think it's much quieter than my open face. But yes, I had to go a size up, the sizing is weird.. But if you find you are an inbetween size the do different cheek pad kits from 25mm to 35mm.. I'm actually a medium with the thickest pads.
Thanks Gents, all good information.
400ish, That’s not bad at all.
I had originally intended to order one through Peter Stevens in Melbourne. $465 – Free Shipping and Free exchange if sizing incorrect or issue. (The exchange includes free return shipping, that’s what their web site advertises.)
Anyway now I know this, I’ll go down and have a chat with Perth HD when I get home.
If this is the helmet its a weird looking fucken thing......

They're modelled after the 1970's Bell racing helmets for those who may not understand what they are about. Admittedly I think the bubble visors are a step TOO far on the whole retro thing, but I do like my Bullitt helmet, its the closest thing you can wear to an open face, that chin bar doesnt even really come into your field of vision.. Its nothing like wearing a modern full face, great compromise. They do a matte black with black edging too, its a HELL of a lot more low key that the white/blue/gloss black with chrome edging.
