have a statdeck right off 1999 Dyna can never be road reg'ed again , making her into a standard 88 c.i.  stock c.c. hotted up drag streetbike only ,  no wheelie bars treaded tyre,  so far have her on a strict diet down to 237 klg , anyone interested in having any new or second hand  go fast parts puttin in for donation or  testing would be a big help as i want to make her Australia's fastest stock size engine bike on a strict buget  , 1999 88 c.i. ,  cheers Bob

she already had a 45 mm Mikuni so i modified her as much as i could , i porded & polished carb welded bell mouth for a Mikuni electric operated power valve jet ( like a thunder jet ) that is operated off the throttle switch @ 7/8 - full throttle  , also two sizes bigger needle jet & two sizes smaller needle to faten the fuel up , then drilled 10 very small holes  0.018 " dia in the needle jet & open up the main air bleed  jet , that is blocked off form the  Mikuni factory ,  more air more fuel  delivery  ,  ported & polished the inlet manifold & made a carb alloy spacer  1 1/2 " wide tilted up 7 degs & leaning forward 10 degs  ,  ( a little more leg room also ) finnished off with a spun & blended & polished  nice stack,    if i had a mobile phone i could have somebody put up a pic of her as i have already done a lot of homework , this carb will be going next on a EVO 106ci FXR i am building @tm, 2015 will see & old rebuilt  2 1/4 " modified S&S super D  carb with a superbowl  acc pump fitted to this 88 ci , @tm iam sorting out pri & final gear ratio's & clutch mod,  trying to do her as best & low cost as possible ,  hotting up & keeping her a stock c.c.88 ci Dyna  is not going to be easy, esp racing against 120R etc V rod's ,   she already has showing good work on the race track , cheers Bob

I was going to offer a efi S&S 52 mm body for the build but you have that covered with the carbs. Sounds like it's going to be a very fast 88 ci bike love to hear about the rest of the engine details and of corse love to see some pics of the bike.

next mod changing the pri ratio to a 1999 to 2001 FLT or roadking 24/37t @tm 25/36t + rear final drive  ratio from 23/51t to 21/51t + comverting the clutch with a Barnett coil spring conversion ,   get rid of that stock dia spring , then testing again to see what the gear ratio change's make @ the track , then the bike goe's on a diet again with a fibreglass rear arse, i aim is 10 . something second's on a buget

Have you found any 88 slugs theres a set of SE 10.25 for $90 AU in the states but I think there cast so might not suit the 7 1/2 revs this engine will pull.
