Won't enter diags mode

    Hi

    My 06 Custom won't let me enter diagnostics mode, I can only access the A, B and Ks displays any thoughts on what's going on would be greatly appreciated.

    Also I probably should mention the speedometer has stopped working as well. Does this simply mean it's the sensor or is it something more sinister?

    All lights are working, backlight, warning etc. Fuse is fine as are connectors, power, earth and data. The needle on the speedo doesn't move and when trying to access diags mode it only allows you to switch between the Ks the two trip settings. It's got me stumped!

    I would just buy a new speedo sensor, I have had them go in the past, just replace & no more problem.

    Then check your regulator output, as over charging caused a speedo sensor to fail on my bike once. 

    Or check how many volts are going to the battery first then if normal put new speedo sensor, plug in and away you go, not worth a witch hunt. Best of luck
