Air-hose accident

What a bummer - a guy reversed into the back of my bike while I was adding air into the tyres.

Don't know how he couldn't see me.

Almost ran me over... was quite shaken.

He hit the back of the bike hard enough to push it about half a meter forwards - somehow it managed to stay on the side stand or the damage would have been worse.

Considering - the damage is not too bad - a scrape on tourpak and a hole in the trim around the LED lights. Got off lightly , considering...

I had a car reverse into mine recently at GA, luckily it only put a mark on the pannier. I had some mild cut and polish in the pannier and luckily for us both it polished out. The stupid thing is he and his wife stopped and looked at it before he left.

I had a tourist hit me in my car, he tried doing a right hand turn from the left lane in a roundabout, my car is a AU Falcon, which wouldn't be worth much, have to wait to see if it's a right off.

Geez I love Dash Cams, they tried blaming it on me, I said would you like a copy of the Dash Cam Video, that fucked them up....smiley

I had an air hose accident a few months back too. I was in a rush to get the tyre inflating regulator from off the top of the hose reel, that as I turned around towards the rear of my bike, the end of the nozzle hit the rear fender and put a 12mm x 6 mm chip in the paint work, right down to primer or bare metal.

Wasn't happy with myself for being so careless, but I'm looking at possibly giving the tins a re-spray next winter if finances permit.

Talking about air hoses. A few months ago I was rolling up the air line on the auto retractor when it got away from me and after about 5 meters went, the coupling got me square in the shin! I can tell you that it friggin hurt. I had an inch high welt on the shin bone about 3 seconds later. I honestly thought i'd chipped the bone at least or broken it. Any way it came better a week or two later. The missus is a nurse but didn't give much sympathy....

Forgot to say that I was glad it got me and not the bike.
