Removing end caps 2014

    Hey Guys,

I have a 2014 sportster with SE Street Cannon slip ons. I would like to remove the end caps, mainly due to the look.

Any idea what impact it would have to ride without the end caps? Do they restrict air flow? Is an autotune on a powervision enough to compensate for the change?

For reference here are the slip ons (I also have  an Arlen Ness Big Sucker on mine and powervision):

I have NFI about your pipes, but doesn't that seem like a really "chuff chuff" sound at idle? Have you removed the baffles? It sounds like a really wide open pipe already.

I presume any good auto tune would compensate btw, but that doesn't mean you're not going to lose your low down grunt and it might sound like shit since I don't even know if the end caps tighten the hole or not.
