Getting these fitted on Friday, the slotted Black Shields....

Was going to go for Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 but the Harley guy reckoned I'd probably lose Horsepower with the V&H !!

So I'm going to go with the Bassini's

Anyone run Bassini's on here, I've heard good things about their pipes...

I've got a mate who fitted the Bassani Pro Street pipes to his new Breakout, look great and don't have that cop bait look !

They look great, although I doubt you'll lose power with V and H?
How loud are they, any baffling or chambering in them?

Can't see how these would be any quieter than the v&h big radius pipes or any other "drag" pipe. Agree they look good and are unique

I can't see how you would lose anymore horsepower with the V&Hs since they are a very similar looking pipe (unless it's baffle choice?) but they're nice just the same. I'd say they have the same/ if not more, cop bait attraction as most AM pipes, but it's the sound that really draws them in, so...

Yeah sorry I've been away......I need to get my Breakout slightly adjusted as the fuel mix is too rich, getting pretty bad 'backfire', first time I thought I had blown my leg off or worst the exhaust off the bike lol

They aren't as loud as I thought, obviously sit there and rev at the lights then peoples arses will move in their cars

open her up and they roar..............I had short shots V&H on a sportster and they were a lot louder than these Bassini's

Personally everyone seems to have the V&H on their Harley's so I was glad to go for something a little different

I highly recommend them

Cheers chopperbobo, they did say about heavy breather but $$$$ at the moment..........I've taken it back but it still popping (not so much backfire) when I let off throttle from high revs in second and third and sometimes first
