Bike died on me today, got a lift home picked up the trailer got it home found problem was on rear cylinder. Popped pushed covers and found rear intake pushed had loosed itself off.
Pulled rear lifters and popped rocker cover and everything in really good condition so re adjusted pushrods and all was good

had fun at the drags last night best I could get was an 11.3, I just could not get off the line without frying the tyre in one of the first 3 gears. Once I got going just flew down the strip and chased down all others I went up against.
180 rear tyre and will go back for another
    Time 11.39
    terminal speed 120.64 mph 194.15kph
    reaction time 0.152
    60' 1.956
    330' 4.953
    660' 7.390
    660' speed 1614.33kph
    1000' 9.537

Same for me night dragons dont hook up! Good if you like doing skids.

Avon Cobras are the go with your hp Ando i cant recommend them enough they stick like shit too a blanket and outlasted the dragons.

On my second set of night dragons on the fatboy and i wont be changing anytime soon.
Nearly twice the milage of the dunlops. Grip is good. No flat spots at all.
Crazy mate of mine was told they were slippery and he loves doing burnouts and has destoyed many tyres within a day of having them fitted. He put one on and it gripped too much so he took it off the next day and gave it to me. I was thinking of trying the avon because i had them years ago.
Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers

I don't mind the Night Dragons. They do like a bit of heat put in them though. Having said that I don't have bad memories of the Avon brand either.

I think there's a knack to that drag racing by the way, ol mate used to do a bit. I've never bothered but might have a shot at embarassing myself in spring.

I havent been down the strip with either tyre, but on the street with a worked bike stage 4 kit i have run these tyres back to back the night dragons first then the Avon Cobras the Cobras have so much more grip its not funny.

The night dragons had good grip for the first 1500ks then were nothing more than a tyre that done skids everywhere even let go on a couple of corners for split second not cofidence inspiring, the Cobras have never let go in corners at all.

This maybe different with standard or just exhaust engine but on high performance Harley they are nothing more tha a tyre that does good skids. My rear cobra has 6800kms on it and is spent (ordering new one on tue) but to give you an idea of the grip a couple weeks ago i accelerated hard first gear on my Fat bob and the fucking thing wheel standed up to about 90 degrees! not something you would think a fatbob could do hey. ( accidental of course )

I have to admit the Night Dragon was the grippiest tyre I had on my Softail but it also wore out the quickest, but not to worried about a bit earlier wear
