Good Choice Ando, would be even better if you could change the weights yourself. to custom set it for a night at the track, with about five compleat clutch plate packs let the VPC do all your work for you, dial in clutch slip, so every pass is straight & quick with real quick sixty foot times, just will need to change the clutch pack every pass. but if you know what your doing that's the key to a quick quarter mile time, with out buggering around leaning how to use the clutch to launch hard.
then a change back to street set up for the ride home. the beauty of that set up is you can have a clutch pull that is lighter than a stock set up, so cltch can handle all you give it but be nice and light with less stress on drive train. too agressive in the clutch and you can't get traction , i've done quicker quarter mile times with a slipping clutch than a clutch that had no slip a bit of clutch slip good.
well ando the bob looks mean as and i like how you have kept it stealth looking no badges on the motor, i did the same with my street bob wiith 120r. made it look old and stockish looking.
been thinking about doing the upgrade to the rx for a while, done about 14k on the motor now, you have gone the s&s rollers and lifters have you?
hanging for your dyno day i bet haha
Hmm a thread of real interest....
Yeah should be out of the shed next week or the one after. Not cheap but should last awhile I hope.
Good shit mate keep us in the loop how she goes
Yeah I will.. It fired tonigt and sounded sweet for 20 seonds. That'll be about it till Brian @ EBT does the dyno run in rhing and tune it. 62mm HPI, Wegner pipes.
Should get up and do the shit..
Here's hoping..
Wegner pipe thats the shot. How'd ya go getting hold of that?
Pretty east just emailed Mike at wegner and he was pretty helpful. Although a little slow..I think he's a busy man with a full plate.
Mines' the X-pipe with twin sueprtrapps but they also make a single muffler version. Didn't really like the look of the single one. They reckon they're pretty close to same performance though.
