Well guys I did it, bought a spankers new Street Glide Special. Was hard work picking a color but seeing the Amber Whiskey in the sun sold it!
Man this thing is so much better than the softail in so many areas! Just a fantastic bike to ride.
Added some V+H Monster rounds, R.S.D clarity air filter and a tune. So far got 800km on it in under 2 weeks. Cant wait to get its first service done and clock up some k's on proper trips!

The dealer rang to say the bike was in the shop and encouraged me to look at the green just in case. In the shade it looked pretty damn good, but as soon as it was in the sunlight I was an immediate 'err no thanks'. I agree on the pinstripe - the wife thought it made it look like a scooter. hehe. I'm picking up the bike on Saturday
The Amber Whiskey looks great, would luv to see it in the sun. Bought a Kia Sportage Turbo Diesel last year in Techno Orange, luv the colour.
Alas I bought a Demo 2014 Street Glide in Big Blue Pearl, also a stunning colour out in the sun, would have liked the Amber Whiskey to
match up the car but the deal on the Big Blue Pearl was too good to pass up.
