Getting some use out of this thing, day trip to Apollo Bay yesterday. Plenty of sun, wind and rain. Good old Melb! The Klockwerks Flare screen makes life a bit nicer and the missus was comfy enough on the back too. 550km trip, 3500km on the bike now. Pretty happy with it!
Been a while since I updated, now done 1600km in a year. Not bad without commuting I reckon.
Got some extra bit on it now,
Klock Werks 6 1/2" Flare screen
Harley Willie G skull heated grips
Extended length rider running boards
Fork mounted wind deflectors
Harley rack and RJays touring bag, plenty of space for our gear and way cheaper than Ultra style top box.
Soft fairing lowers, great in the rain.
These deflectors are amazing, Should have been the first purchase! So much better, waiting for a chance to ride in the rain with the Flare screen, soft lowers and fork deflectors I'll barely get wet!
Off to Tassie again in march so no doubt I'll find out!
Veeeery nice Bilko. Like the idea of the soft lowers on those cooler days.
Saw a couple people on HDTV this morning riding similar bikes with the same lowers. Must be popular. Cheers
Chucked on some new bars yesterday, bit of effort but well worth it. They look awesome and feel better to ride with.
What brand and size are they M8?
Lofty they're genuine H-D mini ape 12" rise about 4 higher than std. Part Number 57474-11
Great looking ride Bilko....only ever seeing the amber whiskey paint on the net I never liked it....but I have seen the colour in the flesh a number of times and it looks great....
So your sold on the fork deflectors?.....they are that good?
I'm battling as to fit them or not
