measure distance with piece string allow 50mill longer ,harley has all cable kits in different lenths to suit your bike or go onto ebay and you should find wiring kit ,who measured the wireing an got wrong this can be bit of cunt job wiring look up J&P CYCLES it usa but ive been buying shit off em for yrs always got what i orded an doesnt take that long or ring sys har;ley sydney ,wen u measure make even 100mil longer or more it just shoves inside hole in frame an ya pull rubber in place an youve just gotta get right part ring sys ive used them never a problem an some kits will be longer than u need but jus goes in hole in frame short no good longer better u wont see it anyway or visit www.H-D.com/store an type in what ya want an yeah this sorta changing bars can be a pain in da arse ive done it nothin ever easy ive found HD is an akward beast bike has imperial bolts an nuts then stupid star things then fuk me metric as well youll get it done then will be all forgotten after a while but in oz lot of parts arnt here an they have to ship in from usa an cost u more do it yourself J&P CYCLES USA they have endless supply of all things under 1 roof ive wanted odd things and all came from usa costs fuk all if ya want it then ya bite da bullet an i havent been let down once top company vendors bring there shit to them to sell so they have a vast variety of anything u can think of try havin look on thier site very easy type in ya bike yr then select wiring for length an suitability abs etc an u should find u can push a foot of wire in those frame holes if kit is longer than u measured an theres no in between size dont cut it just push in hole itll fit
