I have a 2014 fat bob with abs and dual disks. I want to put on a set of biltwell 10" risers with my stock bars. Anyone have any experience with that? I've heard that the street bob cables will do the job? The stock risers are 5.5" and apparently there is some spare electrical cable so they don't need to be extended? Anyone done something similar even a 10inch t-bar cables should be about the same for dynas? Thanks 

 

Not sure if I can help much, but something to consider is putting a towel over your tank, and undoing your top clamp so that you can raise your bars up to the preferred height, and see if your cabling will reach. Consider jerry-rigging a block of wood under the bars to temporarily hold them in place, and sit on the bike to test for comfort and fit.

I'd also think about if the riders have a pullback, and check tank clearance. I imagine with a 10" riser, you'd pretty much clear anything, but worth checking to be sure. Same goes for underslung mirrors on your bars.

Yeah not a bad idea. Being a fat bob and reading about people puttin extensions and stuff on their risers here I've only got about 1-2inches of play in the cables apparently.
