I'm finding the gearing on my '14 Sportster 72 to be needlessly high. I mostly blast around the suburbs and rarely drone on the highway so lower gearing would be great. Is it possible to go down a tooth on the front sprocket or does this belt drive setup make that impossible?
Probably a question that has been covered before but this is my first hog so I'm still trying to figure things out...
Cheers.
883 sprocket a good suggestion.
Riding a gear lower also a good suggestion, although as I'm finding first gear a bit too high, I'm finding it a bid hard to ride a gear lower than first!
So, from my manual it seems my front sprocket is 30 teeth and the 883 is 29. Brash, you mentioned 27?
