I have an Iron 883 and was wondering if I could flip the stock handle bars upside down and use them as drag bars ? Please share your photos if you've done it.

    Thanks

I don't see why not, you'd probably have to re-drill guide holes on the opposite side. Not sure if you'd have tank clearance issues.

Seen a few bikes on the international sportster forum with that done; looks kinda dodgy and I wouldn't be too confident in the ride. You can buy drag bars from Walka @ VPW for around $50..............have a chat to him!

I tried to do this actually (akin to clubman bars) and ran into issues with the stock control pods and the tightness of some of the wiring. I'm sure if I pulled it all out and then fitted it it would be okay (dimples will mean you need to angle it slightly).

You could fix that easily, drill a hole in it and internally wire them.

Like Wazza says, seen a few examples of this on the web. Check out the American forums and youtube. Looks pretty dodgy for mine - I would go with a flat bar instead. TC
