Planning on relocating my nightster's side-mounted licence plate onto the sissy bar. Are there any issues with this? Does it need to be illuminated in NSW?

I think you will find that all licence plates need to be illuminated in every state so the cops can read your rego plate at night time.

I don't think that there's be too many issue with doing this as they don't need to flash. That seems to be when you have to start looking at how much current they draw, and load equalizers etc. But just a straight swap from globes to LEDs, it's easy swap over.
