Anybody Shipped their bike over to USA rode around for a couple of months and then bought it back again ? woth while or not ?

Annie shipped her trike over in 2011 for a Sturgis run, she posted several times regarding her experience, sounded like just as many paperwork hassles as importing a US bought job but as she was there for several weeks it turned out cheaper than hiring.

Cheers for the replys guys yeah been doing some costs and as you say starting to look expensive will go plan B and buy an old FLH shovel or something along those lines and bring her back to OZ
