I wouldn't be letting it idle after a ride. It serves no purpose unless you want to deliberately introduce more heat?!

2014 ENGINE IDLE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EITMS)
    Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform dealers of the operational
details of the 2014 Engine Idle Temperature Management
System (EITMS) for both the faired models (except FLHTP)
equipped with an Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor and
the non-faired models which rely on the Engine Temperature
    (ET) sensor.
See Figure 1. On faired models (except FLHTP), the AAT is
located alongside the left side of the steering head in front of
    the fuel tank.
    Vehicles Affected
This information applies to all 2014 Touring models equipped
with fairings (FLHTCU, FLHTCU TC, FLHTK, FLHTK CVO,
FLHTKSE, FLHX, FLHXS), the 2014 Touring models without
fairings (FLHR, FLHR CVO, FLHRC, FLHRSE), the 2014 Police
models (FLHP, FLHTP) and the 2014 FLHTCUTG.
    Markets Affected
    All markets are affected.
    Required Dealer Action
    Inform customers:
    1. When EITMS is useful.
    2. How EITMS operates.
    3. How to enable/disable EITMS.
    Use
For customers who find themselves at prolonged idle or in stop
and go traffic, EITMS provides limited cooling of the rear cylinder.
When certain high temperature conditions occur, EITMS
turns off the rear cylinder fuel injector. The rear cylinder then
becomes an air pump which cools the rear cylinder.
Inform customers that they can enable or disable EITMS to
    complement their riding style.
    Operation
    NOTE
EITMS does not operate within the first four minutes after
    starting the engine.
Activation: If ALL of the following conditions are met, the
EITMS turns off the rear cylinder fuel injector.
    • Touring (except FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHRSE)
    and FLHTCUTG: AAT sensor exceeds 80 °F (27 °C).
    • FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHP and FLHTP: ET sensor
    exceeds 288 °F (142 °C).
    NOTE
FLHRSE: For configurations, refer to position 5 in the Harley-
Davidson VIN Breakdown: 2014 Touring Models table.
    • FLHRSE: ET sensor exceeds 288 °F (142 °C) (all except
    configurations C, E and G) or 329 °F (165 °C) (configurations
    C, E and G only).
    • The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) is at idle.
    • Motorcycle speed is under 1 mph (2 km/h).
    • Engine speed is under 1200 rpm.
Deactivation: If ANY of the following occur, the rear cylinder
    fuel injector resumes operation:
    • Touring (except FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHRSE,
FLHP and FLHTP) and FLHTCUTG: AAT sensor drops
    below 75 °F (24 °C).
    • FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHRSE, FLHP and FLHTP:
ET sensor drops below 275 °F (135 °C) (all configurations).
    • ETC is above idle.
    • Motorcycle speed exceeds 2 mph (3 km/h).
    • Engine speed exceeds 1350 rpm.
    • The clutch is released with the motorcycle in gear.

    NOTE
In the interest of preserving customer safety and satisfaction, always check for outstanding recalls whenever any motorcycle is brought into your
dealership for either maintenance or service.

Connector [107]: FLHTCU, FLHTK, FLHTK CVO, FLHTKSE,
    FLHX, FLHXS, FLHTCUTG
    Enable/Disable
Enabled: When enabled, EITMS automatically activates
whenever the motorcycle comes to a complete stop and idles
    during elevated temperature conditions.
Disabled: When disabled, EITMS does not activate under any
    conditions.
    NOTES
    • EITMS status can be changed whether the engine is running
    or not.
    • The EITMS status is also displayed in the radio interface.
    See BOOM!™ BOX owner's manual.
    1. Roll-off and hold: With the ignition on and the OFF/RUN
switch in RUN, roll-off the throttle control grip to cruise
    control off and hold.
    2. After 3 seconds, the cruise indicator will flash indicating
EITMS status. Flashing green indicates EITMS enabled.
    Flashing amber indicates EITMS disabled.
    3. To maintain indicated status: Release the throttle control
    grip.
    4. To change status: Release the throttle control grip. Repeat
    "roll-off and hold".
