theres a new hwy patrol sgt operating from port macquarie l.a.c..patrols the mid nth coast region and is hell bent on issuing EPA notices for exhaust (loud or aftermarket) to anyone he can..got mine on the oct long weekend (V&H big radius on softail 1584cc) and since then have heard of many other HD owners suffering the same pain from this relentless prick..he came here from singleton so i found out from another hwy ptrl dude and HE even told me that pipes were "THIS BLOKES THING" "warn ya mates" after reading many threads as a visitor i bet its the same prick that was a menace in the hunter valley,,same symtoms-the bloke will be going in the opposite direction and turn around in his unmarked dark blue falcon and follow you for 10ks watching your riding habits, finds you arent breaking any road rules then pulls you over anyway, bloke said "you blokes are awfully well behaved or you knew i was behind you" is he implying HD riders are not compliant with road rules? what a smartarse.by the way i didnt know he was there and i was wondering while watching the traffic behind us why this vehicle was overtaking slower traffic in the overtaking lane with us and then pulling back in with us. just thought he was a sook that didnt want to smoke three guys on harleys. Im still pissed about my notice,got inspected last week with stock set-up, unsure whether to put the BR,s back on- the bike sounds like a f****ing sewing machine. enough of the rant but consider yaselves warned..be safe dudes..FLIPDOG

Why are these guys allowed to be cops at all? Like fuckwits handing out tickets for car windows that are down a little, or the dumbarses revenue raising for someone taking his foot off the pegs to stretch. If they can't show common sense then remove them.

He even pings jap bikes! If your mufflers doesn't have the manufacturers name stamped on them, of to the EPA noise tester you go. Got me on my Roadking about 12 months ago. More of an inconvenience than anything.
